I first heard about Cameron McGill when we were both playing the South Park Independent Music Festival in 2005.
Cameron's music is reminiscent of legendary singer songwriters like Dylan and Springsteen. His stripped down sophmore effort Street Ballads and Murderesques has kept me company through some really lonely touring. It's imprinted on my heart like a lost love.
Oh yeah, and when he's not playing solo, his band What Army rocks pretty hard, too.
