Mike Schmid is the only artist I’ve had on the show who wrote to me asking to be on. I listened and booked it immediately.

Mike’s music is catchy and beautiful. He’s one of those rare people who is real to the bone. He said to me once about finding a partner, “Why not try being yourself? Someone’s gonna like it.”
